Knowledge is Power.

Knowing yourself might just make you the most powerful you’ve ever been. Learn how your brain works, what your reality looks like, and work with it, not fight against it.

“It’s hard to go against the beliefs of powerful people. Reality has a lot to do with what a lot of us or some important or powerful people say it is.” (Dr. W. Glasser)

Language in itself is very powerful. How we say things matters. For example, when we say “reality,” we think of something that’s absolute and perhaps, undeniable. A more flexible way to think of what we see is “perception.” Reality is different for everyone. Our perception of how things are is unique to each one of us.

“Friendships work because friends do not indulge in the fantasies of ownership. Your friends don’t feel like they own you, or want to possess you, like your partner does.” (Dr. W. Glasser)

“It’s important to find out early that we are different from others and that the only person we own are ourselves.” (Dr. W. Glasser)
